Gary Fong designed the GearGuard line in response to an ongoing snatch-and-grab threat faced by professional and amateur photographers.

The GearGuard™ system is the first-ever total security system to enable the photographer to lock valuable, mission critical items such as lenses, camera bodies and accessory bags to prevent theft.

Items can be tethered together by a super-strong, yet flexible braided steel cord, or can be tethered to a solid, immovable object.

Until now, there has been no way to secure your video or D-SLR camera from being easily stolen. The GearGuard™ Body Lock is the keystone to the GearGuard Security System.

The mounting plate mounts to your tripod mount, and a security plate slides over the tripod knob so you can lock the tripod knob inside of a hard, protective case.
